The LCC4 is the top of the DGT by Senmatic climate range, built for nurseries and commercial glasshouses that run more than one growing environment. A single LCC4 controls from one to sixteen compartments, and each compartment can be split into two subzones with their own local setpoints, so different crops in the same house each get the conditions they need.
The interface is the same philosophy as the rest of the range: a touch screen with clear icons and the ability to design your own screen layouts, so day-to-day operation stays simple however sophisticated the setup underneath. Adding a new compartment carries no software cost, and the LCC4’s energy balance model ‘knows’ the greenhouse, calculating heat demand from the K-factor, screens, air change and lighting for stable, feed-forward regulation.
Ventilation runs on cascade control, opening windward and leeward sides together for effective air exchange even at small vent openings. Up to eight humidity-controlled misting valves, four artificial light zones with three HPS steps, CO2 control and software for Senmatic LED fixtures are all part of the platform, and the irrigation program extends from one valve to sixteen by purchased program.
