The FL300 Sunlight is the LED fixture for growers who need light that behaves like the sun: a full spectral profile across the photosynthetically active region, with white light that shows the crop in its true colours. It suits research houses, climate chambers, garden centres and any production where colour rendering and light quality matter as much as intensity.
Two patented systems set it apart. The optical lens system spreads light in a homogenous distribution profile at plant level, so an FL300 installation can follow a traditional HPS layout plan without dark corners or hot spots. And where most LED fixtures rely on passive cooling, the FL300’s patented active cooling keeps diode temperature low, which is what protects output and lifetime over years of daily use.
Intensity is dimmable from 20 to 100%, so one fixture serves a crop from propagation through to finishing. Control integrates directly with the DGT LCC4 climate computer, through a compact control unit running up to 49 fixtures, or via the LED Light Controller where a third-party climate computer is already in place.
The design is proven in demanding conditions: Aarhus University’s Aarslev research station has grown challenging crops, including tomatoes, under FL300-only lighting in its climate chambers, with documented improvements in light uniformity over the previous installation.
