The AMI Simplex is the entry point into DGT by Senmatic fertigation, and for many UK growers it is all the fertilizer mixer they will ever need. It mixes feed through a 130-litre tank rather than dosing inline, which means every drop of irrigation water leaves the unit with the fertilizer blend, EC and pH already correct, rather than being corrected on the fly.
Operation runs through a 4.3-inch touch screen with well-arranged menus. The Simplex controls up to three irrigation groups, each with its own start conditions, and each group chooses between four fertilizer recipes carrying full EC, pH and blend information. Up to twelve solenoid valves can be freely assigned across the three groups, and pH control can be added with a venturi and pH sensor whenever you need it.
The software is built on a standard operating system, so functions and capacity can be expanded as the nursery grows, and the optional DGT On The Go app puts the mixer on your phone. Two pump sizes (15 or 25 m3/h) cover most commercial situations.
