The FL300 Grow is the heavyweight of the Grow spectrum: a compact 550 x 230 x 160 mm fixture in the 500 W class, delivering a PPF of 1600 µmol/s on a single 230 V supply. Next to the slim FL100 Grow bar, it is a top-light designed for production greenhouses and research glasshouses where you need a lot of light from each fixture.
The Grow spectrum is plant-first, with a blue share adjustable from 2 to 14 % of total light and a small 1 to 5 % green and white component. Power can be dimmed from 100 to 500 W through the controller, so the same fixture can supplement a grey winter day or run harder when the crop calls for it. The blue setting gives you another way to influence plant height alongside your normal steering.
The FL300 has an active cooling system that keeps the LEDs at a low temperature, which the manufacturer says supports a long working life, and a lens system that spreads light evenly so layouts follow the same logic as HPS. Coverage is up to 12 m² depending on intensity. It is also recommended for hybrid installations that combine LED with existing HPS. Control runs through an LCC4 climate computer, a small Control Unit for up to 49 fixtures, or the LED Light Controller if you use another climate computer. As main UK distributor for DGT by Senmatic, we plan the layout, install the fixtures and support the system afterwards.
