On Wednesday 8 July, we’ll be exhibiting at Fruit Focus 2026, the UK’s premier technical event for the fruit growing industry. You’ll find us on Stand 427, and if you grow fruit commercially, ten minutes at our stand could be the most valuable conversation you have all day.
A landmark year for Fruit Focus
2026 is a big year for the show itself. Fruit Focus is celebrating its 40th anniversary and moving to a brand new venue: Bradbourne House at East Malling in Kent, in partnership with the East Malling Trust and Niab. With over 150 exhibitors, new seminar stages covering viticulture and packing, working demonstrations of autonomous equipment, and the NFU Fruit Forum tackling the industry’s big issues, it’s a full day out for any serious grower and well worth the trip.
Simon and Louise will both be on the stand throughout the day, ready to talk through your irrigation requirements, system design and installation, and the water management solutions that maximise efficiency and crop performance.
Why your irrigation deserves a hard look
In fruit production, irrigation isn’t a background utility. It’s one of the biggest levers you have on yield, quality and cost. Whether it’s table-top strawberries under polytunnels, soft fruit in substrate, or top fruit in the orchard, your margins are decided by how precisely water and nutrients reach the root zone.
Get it right and you see it in the picking bins: better fruit size, more consistent quality, higher marketable yield. Get it wrong, even slightly, and you’re paying for it twice. Once in wasted water, energy and fertiliser, and again in the yield you never harvested.
The frustrating part is that most underperforming systems don’t look broken. They just quietly cost money: uneven pressure across a block, filtration that’s not quite up to the job, scheduling that’s based on habit rather than what the crop actually needs. In our experience, these are exactly the problems a fresh pair of expert eyes can spot quickly, and fixing them is often far cheaper than growers expect.
What we can do for your operation
Come to Stand 427 and let’s talk specifics. Here’s where we can make a measurable difference:
Improve your yield and fruit quality. Precision irrigation design puts the right amount of water and nutrients in the root zone at the right time, every time. Consistent conditions mean consistent fruit, and more of your crop hitting spec.
Cut your water, energy and fertiliser costs. With abstraction licensing under increasing scrutiny and dry summers now the norm, every wasted litre is money out of your pocket. Efficient system design, proper filtration and smart water management can significantly reduce what you spend to grow the same crop, or better.
Save labour with automation. Our automated irrigation systems take the daily guesswork and manual valve-turning out of your operation. Sensor-informed, scheduled irrigation frees up your team, removes human error, and gives your crop the same optimal conditions day after day.
Protect your investment long term. We design, install, and then stand behind our systems with ongoing technical support and maintenance, because a system is only as good as its upkeep. Already got a system that’s underperforming? Bring your questions. We’re happy to look at existing setups and tell you honestly what’s worth fixing.
Book your free site assessment
The best conversations at Fruit Focus start with your site, not our brochure. Bring a rough sketch of your layout, photos of your existing setup, or just a description of what’s bugging you: pressure drop at the far end of the tunnel, patchy growth across a block, a water bill that keeps climbing.
Better still, book a site assessment with us at the show. We’ll visit your operation, evaluate your current irrigation against what your crop actually needs, and give you a clear, honest picture of where you’re losing money and what it would take to fix it. No obligation, just a practical roadmap for getting more from every litre.
